Gira, a fintech acquired by Santander, tracks the performance of properties involved in credit operations

Santander Brazil announced today (11) that it has agreed to buy 80% of Gira, a fintech of agribusiness receivables, without revealing values.

In a statement, the bank said that Gira uses geolocation of productive areas, captures and analyzes agronomic data, and permanently monitors the production performance of the properties involved in the credit operations.

Gira also reviews and digitally records the guarantees provided by the contracts and monitors the development of the crops as a form of risk monitoring. (With Reuters)
