Unidas announced the acquisition of Getrak for R$ 120 million this Tuesday, 31st. The merger, the release explains, reinforces the technological transformation already underway at the acquiring company.
The car rental and fleet outsourcing company will pay R$ 71.1 million in cash and the remainder with 1.966 million Unidas shares, without diluting the acquiring company’s shareholders.
Through this initiative, Unidas will seek to enhance product development and increase the availability of services that guarantee greater predictability, safety, efficiency and productivity to its clients.
In 2020, Unidas had already acquired iTER, a technology company from Santa Catarina specialized in vehicle tracking and telemetry. Thus, together, Getrak and iTER have more than one million vehicles tracked. The idea is for Unidas to develop even more complete and innovative solutions, adding value to the available solutions. Another benefit is the union of professionals from both companies.
Getrak has been in the tracking solutions technology segment for 17 years, has 98 employees, is present in all Brazilian states, and has 786,000 subscriptions and 830 customers in Brazil.
